# Townelink vs Purity

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Townelink at none against Purity's 2. Townelink also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 74%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). Purity's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (895 vs 11). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Purity sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Townelink asks for nothing beyond the download.

Purity holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Purity has 895 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Townelink's written reviews are positive against 74% of Purity's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Townelink ships an update every 3 weeks, Purity every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
