# Mathemystic vs Math Mindset

The clearest difference is monetization model: Mathemystic at free against Math Mindset's free with in-app purchases. Math Mindset's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mathemystic sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Math Mindset sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Mathemystic against 5.0 for Math Mindset. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Math Mindset has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Mathemystic ships an update every 3 weeks, Math Mindset weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
