# Munzee vs AQUALIA

The clearest difference is rating: AQUALIA at 4.7 against Munzee's 3.7. AQUALIA also leads on review sentiment (69% vs 40%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). Munzee's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and chart position (#193 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Munzee sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and AQUALIA sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AQUALIA holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AQUALIA has 1K ratings behind it against 120, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 40% of Munzee's written reviews are positive against 69% of AQUALIA's.

Munzee ships an update every 3 months, AQUALIA monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
