# Munzee vs Q

The clearest difference is rating: Q at 5.0 against Munzee's 3.7. Q also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). Munzee's advantage is ratings volume (120 vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Munzee sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Q asks for nothing beyond the download.

Q holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Munzee has 120 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Munzee ships an update every 3 months, Q monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
