# PMLP App vs My Astound

The clearest difference is rating: PMLP App at 4.3 against My Astound's 1.6. PMLP App also leads on update cadence (every 8 months vs every 35 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). My Astound's advantage is ratings volume (118 vs 4). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PMLP App holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Astound has 118 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of PMLP App's written reviews are positive against 8% of My Astound's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PMLP App ships an update every 8 months, My Astound every 35 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
