# Ting vs ComfortAI

Ting and ComfortAI both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of ComfortAI's written reviews are positive against 72% of Ting's. Ting's advantage is ratings volume (109K vs 5) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ComfortAI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ting has 109K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 72% of Ting's written reviews are positive against 100% of ComfortAI's.

Ting ships an update every 2 months, ComfortAI every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
