# Ting vs Woohaha

The clearest difference is rating: Ting at 4.8 against Woohaha's 3.0. Ting also leads on ratings volume (110K vs 1). Woohaha's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ting holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ting has 110K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ting ships an update every 2 months, Woohaha every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
