# Ting vs LastingMind

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Ting at none against LastingMind's 7. Ting also leads on ratings volume (110K vs 8). LastingMind's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 72%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LastingMind sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Ting asks for nothing beyond the download.

LastingMind holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ting has 110K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 72% of Ting's written reviews are positive against 100% of LastingMind's.
