# Ting vs FunPlanned

The clearest difference is update cadence: FunPlanned at every 3 days against Ting's every 2 months. FunPlanned also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Ting's advantage is ratings volume (109K vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FunPlanned holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ting has 109K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ting ships an update every 2 months, FunPlanned every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
