# Mars Craft vs FocusFishing

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FocusFishing at 100% against Mars Craft's 47%. FocusFishing also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Mars Craft's advantage is ratings volume (405 vs 5) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mars Craft sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and FocusFishing sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FocusFishing holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mars Craft has 405 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 47% of Mars Craft's written reviews are positive against 100% of FocusFishing's.

Mars Craft ships an update every 3 weeks, FocusFishing weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
