# TetherAll vs MoveMap

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TetherAll at 100% against MoveMap's 50%. TetherAll also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (10 vs 2). MoveMap's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.1) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MoveMap sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. TetherAll asks for nothing beyond the download.

MoveMap holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TetherAll has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of TetherAll's written reviews are positive against 50% of MoveMap's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TetherAll ships an update every 3 months, MoveMap every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
