# Mercadona vs MAXYMOVA

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mercadona at every 3 days against MAXYMOVA's every 2 months. Mercadona also leads on ratings volume (24 vs 3). MAXYMOVA's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MAXYMOVA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mercadona has 24 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mercadona ships an update every 3 days, MAXYMOVA every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
