# InternetFM vs Vinyl Notes

The clearest difference is price: InternetFM at Free against Vinyl Notes's $3.99. InternetFM also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months). Vinyl Notes's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (100% vs 89%). On ads there is nothing between them.

InternetFM is free to download; Vinyl Notes costs $3.99 up front. InternetFM sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month. Vinyl Notes asks for nothing beyond the download.

InternetFM holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: InternetFM has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of InternetFM's written reviews are positive against 100% of Vinyl Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

InternetFM ships an update every 6 weeks, Vinyl Notes every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
