# Molnus vs EV5

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EV5 at none against Molnus's 3. Molnus's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 8 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Molnus sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. EV5 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Molnus ships an update fortnightly, EV5 every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
