# TimeCalc vs DecisionMentor

The clearest difference is rating: TimeCalc at 4.5 against DecisionMentor's 4.0. TimeCalc also leads on ratings volume (90 vs 4) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeCalc sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and DecisionMentor sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TimeCalc holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TimeCalc has 90 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
