# Apptivity vs StreamX

The clearest difference is review sentiment: StreamX at 81% against Apptivity's 37%. StreamX also leads on ratings volume (24 vs 1). Apptivity's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and in-app purchases (none vs 9). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StreamX sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Apptivity asks for nothing beyond the download.

Apptivity holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StreamX has 24 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of Apptivity's written reviews are positive against 81% of StreamX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Apptivity ships an update fortnightly, StreamX weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
