# R vs Instagrid APP

The clearest difference is update cadence: Instagrid APP at every 4 weeks against R's every 7 months. R's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

R ships an update every 7 months, Instagrid APP every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on October 10, 2026.
