# Boxpaq vs FoxPack

The clearest difference is rating: FoxPack at 5.0 against Boxpaq's 4.6. FoxPack also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 7 months). Boxpaq's advantage is ratings volume (26 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FoxPack holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Boxpaq has 26 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Boxpaq ships an update every 7 months, FoxPack every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
