# FieldWise vs b

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FieldWise at 100% against b's 0%. FieldWise also leads on ratings volume (14 vs 3). b's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

b holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 14 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of FieldWise's written reviews are positive against 0% of b's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FieldWise ships an update every 4 months, b fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
