# Sticker Stash vs thingz

The clearest difference is monetization model: Sticker Stash at free against thingz's free with in-app purchases. Sticker Stash also leads on review sentiment (73% vs 58%) and device support (3 vs 1). thingz's advantage is ratings volume (806 vs 31) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

thingz holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: thingz has 806 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Sticker Stash's written reviews are positive against 58% of thingz's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sticker Stash ships an update every 2 weeks, thingz every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
