# Sharelock vs Jamp Jamp VPN

The clearest difference is ads: Sharelock at none against Jamp Jamp VPN's shown. Sharelock also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Jamp Jamp VPN's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (1.8K vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sharelock sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Jamp Jamp VPN sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sharelock holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jamp Jamp VPN has 1.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sharelock ships an update every 3 months, Jamp Jamp VPN every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
