# Another Man vs Secret Diary

The clearest difference is rating: Secret Diary at 4.8 against Another Man's 2.5. Secret Diary also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (112 vs 2). Another Man's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Another Man sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $10.49 per year and Secret Diary sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Secret Diary holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Secret Diary has 112 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Another Man ships an update every 10 months, Secret Diary fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
