# Hal™ vs Comet

The clearest difference is rating: Comet at 4.8 against Hal™'s 3.1. Comet also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (7.8K vs 65). Hal™'s advantage is iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hal™ sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Comet sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $20.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Comet holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comet has 7.8K ratings behind it against 65, so its average is the more settled of the two.
