# VPN vs OSARi VPN

VPN and OSARi VPN both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of VPN's written reviews are positive against 40% of OSARi VPN's. VPN also leads on ratings volume (2.1M vs 1.4K) and chart position (#9 vs unranked). OSARi VPN's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 16.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and OSARi VPN sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for VPN against 4.7 for OSARi VPN. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN has 2.1M ratings behind it against 1.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of VPN's written reviews are positive against 40% of OSARi VPN's.

VPN ships an update weekly, OSARi VPN fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
