# VPN vs VPN · Fast & Secure

VPN and VPN · Fast & Secure both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of VPN's written reviews are positive against 47% of VPN · Fast & Secure's. VPN also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). VPN · Fast & Secure's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and VPN · Fast & Secure sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for VPN against 4.7 for VPN · Fast & Secure. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN has 2.1M ratings behind it against 48K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of VPN's written reviews are positive against 47% of VPN · Fast & Secure's.

VPN ships an update weekly, VPN · Fast & Secure every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on November 8, 2026.
