# LAYÒUT vs Card.Note

The clearest difference is price: Card.Note at Free against LAYÒUT's $0.99. Card.Note also leads on review sentiment (79% vs 41%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). LAYÒUT's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1K vs 81). On in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Card.Note is free to download; LAYÒUT costs $0.99 up front. LAYÒUT sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Card.Note sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Card.Note holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LAYÒUT has 1K ratings behind it against 81, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 41% of LAYÒUT's written reviews are positive against 79% of Card.Note's.

LAYÒUT ships an update every 6 weeks, Card.Note every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
