# Task Manager vs Weekly Planner

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Weekly Planner at none against Task Manager's 1. Weekly Planner also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 10 months). Task Manager's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 71%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Task Manager sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Weekly Planner asks for nothing beyond the download.

Task Manager holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weekly Planner has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Task Manager's written reviews are positive against 71% of Weekly Planner's.

Task Manager ships an update every 10 months, Weekly Planner every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
