# LEPO vs Katapulk

LEPO and Katapulk both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of LEPO's written reviews are positive against 57% of Katapulk's. Katapulk's advantage is ratings volume (7.5K vs 5) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LEPO holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Katapulk has 7.5K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 90% of LEPO's written reviews are positive against 57% of Katapulk's.

LEPO ships an update every 2 months, Katapulk every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
