# Comics Price Guide vs Identify Comic Book

The clearest difference is rating: Identify Comic Book at 5.0 against Comics Price Guide's 3.9. Comics Price Guide's advantage is review sentiment (29% vs 0%) and monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Comics Price Guide sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Identify Comic Book sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Identify Comic Book holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comics Price Guide has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Comics Price Guide's written reviews are positive against 0% of Identify Comic Book's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
