# ARush vs AR

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ARush at none against AR's 2. ARush also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.4). AR's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AR sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. ARush asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for ARush against 4.9 for AR. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AR has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ARush ships an update every 5 weeks, AR every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
