# Joolink vs 微信输入法

The clearest difference is rating: Joolink at 4.8 against 微信输入法's 4.0. Joolink also leads on ratings volume (358K vs 770) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). 微信输入法's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Joolink sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. 微信输入法 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Joolink holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Joolink has 358K ratings behind it against 770, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Joolink's written reviews are positive against 43% of 微信输入法's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
