# California Cycle Path vs [solidcore]

The clearest difference is rating: [solidcore] at 4.9 against California Cycle Path's 3.8. [solidcore] also leads on ratings volume (29K vs 5) and chart position (#151 vs unranked). California Cycle Path's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (50% vs 21%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

[solidcore] holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: [solidcore] has 29K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of California Cycle Path's written reviews are positive against 21% of [solidcore]'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
