# Wi vs wlan

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Wi at 58% against wlan's 0%. Wi also leads on rating (4.4 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (449 vs 17). wlan's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. wlan asks for nothing beyond the download.

Wi holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wi has 449 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 58% of Wi's written reviews are positive against 0% of wlan's.
