# MyDolphin Plus vs INKBIRD

The clearest difference is rating: MyDolphin Plus at 4.7 against INKBIRD's 3.7. INKBIRD's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyDolphin Plus holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8.9K and 6.9K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of MyDolphin Plus's written reviews are positive against 23% of INKBIRD's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyDolphin Plus ships an update every 2 months, INKBIRD fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
