# Chatclic vs Elele

The clearest difference is ads: Chatclic at none against Elele's shown. Chatclic also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Elele's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 7). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chatclic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Elele sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $2.89 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chatclic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elele has 1.5K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Chatclic ships an update every 3 weeks, Elele monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
