# Vampire Story vs Grim Tales 24

The clearest difference is ads: Grim Tales 24 at none against Vampire Story's shown. Grim Tales 24 also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 7 months). Vampire Story's advantage is review sentiment (84% vs 69%) and ratings volume (3.3K vs 423). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vampire Story sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Grim Tales 24 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Grim Tales 24 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vampire Story has 3.3K ratings behind it against 423, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Vampire Story's written reviews are positive against 69% of Grim Tales 24's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vampire Story ships an update every 7 months, Grim Tales 24 every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
