# FXeinstein vs Alerta

The clearest difference is ads: FXeinstein at none against Alerta's shown. FXeinstein also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Alerta's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FXeinstein sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month and Alerta sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Alerta holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alerta has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of FXeinstein's written reviews are positive against 67% of Alerta's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FXeinstein ships an update monthly, Alerta every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
