# Spireworks vs Revela

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Revela at 100% against Spireworks's 58%. Revela also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 2 months). Spireworks's advantage is rating (3.5 vs 3.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Revela sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Spireworks asks for nothing beyond the download.

Spireworks holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spireworks has 136 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Spireworks's written reviews are positive against 100% of Revela's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Spireworks ships an update every 2 months, Revela daily. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
