# CATCH vs Psyra

The clearest difference is rating: Psyra at 5.0 against CATCH's 4.2. Psyra also leads on iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). CATCH's advantage is ratings volume (480 vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CATCH sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Psyra sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Psyra holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CATCH has 480 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CATCH ships an update fortnightly, Psyra every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
