# Live Wallpapers HD & iTheme vs Live Maker

Live Wallpapers HD & iTheme and Live Maker both sit at 3.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Live Maker's written reviews are positive against 60% of Live Wallpapers HD & iTheme's. Live Wallpapers HD & iTheme's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (9.1 vs 11.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Live Wallpapers HD & iTheme holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 11 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Live Wallpapers HD & iTheme's written reviews are positive against 100% of Live Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Live Wallpapers HD & iTheme ships an update fortnightly, Live Maker monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
