# ImageScope vs EndscopeTool

The clearest difference is rating: ImageScope at 5.0 against EndscopeTool's 2.7. ImageScope also leads on iOS requirement (7.0 vs 12.0). EndscopeTool's advantage is ratings volume (273 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ImageScope holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EndscopeTool has 273 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ImageScope ships an update every 5 months, EndscopeTool every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
