# SloWays vs Gronze Maps

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Gronze Maps at 99 against SloWays's 1. Gronze Maps also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SloWays holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gronze Maps has 99 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of SloWays's written reviews are positive against 61% of Gronze Maps's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SloWays ships an update every 2 months, Gronze Maps monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
