# AttendanceElf vs MindNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: MindNote at every 2 weeks against AttendanceElf's every 3 months. AttendanceElf's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AttendanceElf sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MindNote sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AttendanceElf ships an update every 3 months, MindNote every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
