# GD & T Guide vs PrepFE

The clearest difference is rating: GD & T Guide at 3.0 against PrepFE's 2.0. GD & T Guide also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). PrepFE's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (57 vs 9). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GD & T Guide sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and PrepFE sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GD & T Guide holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PrepFE has 57 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. GD & T Guide ships an update every 5 months, PrepFE every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
