# Trustap vs Plastiq

Trustap and Plastiq both sit at 3.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Trustap's written reviews are positive against 44% of Plastiq's. Plastiq's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 23 months) and ratings volume (85 vs 17). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Plastiq holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Plastiq has 85 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Trustap's written reviews are positive against 44% of Plastiq's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Trustap ships an update every 23 months, Plastiq every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
