# xStreamer vs Rob the Rich

The clearest difference is rating: Rob the Rich at 4.6 against xStreamer's 4.3. Rob the Rich also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. xStreamer sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Rob the Rich sells 22 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rob the Rich holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 110 and 177 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of xStreamer's written reviews are positive against 53% of Rob the Rich's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

xStreamer ships an update every 2 months, Rob the Rich every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
