# Iprayer vs Athan

The clearest difference is ads: Iprayer at none against Athan's shown. Iprayer also leads on review sentiment (79% vs 65%). Athan's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and rating (4.6 vs 4.4). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Iprayer sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Athan sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Athan holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.8K and 2.1K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Iprayer's written reviews are positive against 65% of Athan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Iprayer ships an update every 2 months, Athan every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
