# Find.Dance vs Dancemate Social

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Find.Dance at 67% against Dancemate Social's 0%. Find.Dance also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ratings volume (19 vs 1). Dancemate Social's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dancemate Social sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Find.Dance asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dancemate Social holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Find.Dance has 19 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Find.Dance's written reviews are positive against 0% of Dancemate Social's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
