# Live Flight Status vs Air Traffic

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Air Traffic at 80% against Live Flight Status's 30%. Live Flight Status's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Air Traffic sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Live Flight Status asks for nothing beyond the download.

Live Flight Status holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Live Flight Status has 623 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Live Flight Status's written reviews are positive against 80% of Air Traffic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Live Flight Status ships an update monthly, Air Traffic every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
