# Sailing Term vs PMI

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PMI at none against Sailing Term's 1. PMI also leads on ads (none vs shown). Sailing Term's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sailing Term sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. PMI asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sailing Term ships an update fortnightly, PMI every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
